A Notable Race Has Been Added To The NASCAR 2024 Schedule

The Pala Casino 400 will be replaced on the Cup Series calendar by NASCAR since Fontana Speedway in California will be under construction the following year. The location that was selected to take its place is intriguing.

Bob Pockrass, a Fox NASCAR insider, claims that Iowa Speedway will be included in the 2024 NASCAR Cup Series. In recent years, only IndyCar and ARCA events have been held at the Iowa Speedway.

Rusty Wallace, a NASCAR great, said in a statement that the Iowa Speedway was constructed with NASCAR Cup Series racing in mind and that he is pleased to witness the realization of the plan.

“This track was built with the intention of hosting a NASCAR Cup Series race one day, and to finally see it come together is a testament to the tenacity of the great race fans in Iowa,” said Wallace.

There is no name or sponsor yet for the event at Iowa Speedway. It is now scheduled for June 14–16, however.

It will be a night race with a scheduled start time of 7 p.m. ET, and USA Network will broadcast it.

Iowa Speedway can accommodate 25,000 people, with more space available on important racing days.
