During a season, the NFL schedule may sometimes be changed.
It may happen for a variety of reasons, such as a change in the weather, but most often, it merely happens to “flex” a better game into a more convenient time frame.
The Detroit Lions and Tampa Bay Buccaneers game on October 15 has been shifted to 4:25 p.m. ET, it was announced on Monday.
“It’s the first flexible scheduling move of the 2023 season, and puts two 3-1 teams into a time slot that’ll reach more of the country,” tweeted NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero.
The 2023 season has gotten off to a strong start for both the Lions and Buccaneers, who are both presently in first place in their respective divisions going into Week 5.
Additionally, the NFL’s 4 p.m./4:25 p.m. timeslot has recently lacked drama, so perhaps relocating this game to that time period could provide spectators a compelling matchup.
For NFL fans throughout the world, the game should be entertaining.
